1. Account Integrity & Accuracy

To maintain a safe and honest community, all users must provide genuine personal information, including full legal name, a valid Australian mobile number, and a functional email address.

Strict Policy: OzSwap reserves the right to disqualify, suspend, or permanently cancel any account found to be using aliases, fake phone numbers, or misleading data.

2. Confidential Information & Data Sharing

By registering or updating your profile, Sellers agree to share their contact details (email and/or phone) with the platform. These details will only be revealed to Interested Parties who have also provided their own contact information.

Both parties explicitly consent to this mutual exchange for the purpose of buying, swapping, or collecting giveaway items. This platform acts strictly as a facilitator; once contact information is exchanged, interactions occur independently of the platform.

Non-Obligation Clause:

OzSwap holds no obligation and zero risk in events where a Seller or Interested Party accidentally, intentionally, or through abuse, reveals or misuses another user's contact information. Users share and receive data at their own discretion.

3. User Conduct

Users agree to act in good faith. Harassment, "low-balling" giveaway items for resale, or misrepresenting the condition of items is prohibited. Users must respect the privacy of the contact data received through the platform.

4. Liability Disclaimer

OzSwap provides the platform to facilitate connections but does not take ownership of, or verify the condition of, items listed.

No Lawful Responsibility: OzSwap holds no obligation or lawful responsibility for deals, payments, or swaps conducted between users. All interactions and transactions are conducted strictly and exclusively between the seller and the interested party.

Users are solely responsible for inspecting items, verifying the identity of the other party, and ensuring safe meeting practices in public places.
